Giving Back and Serving Well with Joey Mac Dizon
- Joey Mac Dizon of The Mobile Cigar Lounge. He is the co-founder and CEO of the New Jersey based Mobile Cigar Lounge where they bring the cigar experience to events and roll premium cigars in person.
- The best part of entrepreneurship is taking what you LOVE and forming a business model in which you get paid to do that thing.
- You always have to be a student. Even if you’ve already ear it before, you may pick up something different the second go-around.
- Get a mentor, someone who’s in your industry and excelling in business. Get someone who has been through where you are and can help guide you to avoid wasting time, money and energy.
- Treat every client as if they are your only client. Give them the attention they deserve.
- Before you think about scaling your business, think about if you’ll be able to keep the same level of client experience when you bring in a higher volume of clients.
- Extinguish any fires that may come up even before they start up. If it looks like you won’t be hitting a deadline, reach out days before that deadline and give them an update. Don’t wait until they realize that you missed the deadline.
- Giving back to your community and to charities should be a necessity. Younger generations are focusing on businesses that give back. We want our money to do more than just buy things.
Serve as if you’re working for 1 person or for 1 Million.
